I am grateful for the practice of affirming my positives through repetition which leads to inspired action. So, now when I hear myself say, that I am a full-time writer and that my books are intriguing, I believe it wholeheartedly and the physical evidence of this belief keeps showing up more and more each day. I keep the statements universal, meaning no matter what religion or spiritual practice the reader ascribes to, they can use these statements. These are statements of pure, positive and powerful affirmation that ring true in the lives of any human being, celebrating both life and the opportunity to live it.

This journal is designed to help you establish a regular routine of acknowledging the things are working in your life. No blessing is too small. Imagining life without simple things like eyesight helps us put our blessings into perspective. This journal is set up to start with Sunday and end with Saturday. At the end of each week, there is a short self-reflection exercise to help you improve your level of gratitude from one week to the next. If you miss a day, you can go back and fill it in or leave it blank. Perfection is not the goal but consistency is. This can be past or present, you decide. Set aside five to ten minutes at the end of each day to reflect upon the numerous blessings that often go unnoticed in the midst of the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.

Wreaking havoc from the Big Easy to the Big Apple, college students Pip and her best pal Sage will stop at nothing to find the truth about Pip’s missing childhood sweetheart Cab Moore. Who happens to be an up and coming rapper in the hottest group out of New Orleans (post-Katrina), “RE-SET.” Set at an HBCU firmly nestled into the culture of New York City, RE-SET delivers many layers of cross-cultural intrigue and a healthy dose of New Orleans’ street vernacular that brings each line to life. This soft-core Urban Lit ‘who done it’ takes the reader on a wild ride that is anything but predictable. The plot is fueled by an ego-drenched rivalry between record label mogul, Mr. Bizness and pithy NOPDs’ Detective Green. Kidnappings, fraud, betrayal, interracial romance, snakes and murder…RE-SET is superbly finished off with an ending that leaves the reader satisfied yet craving more.

The purpose of this text is to serve as a critical review of over sixty scholarly articles related to the many facets of inequality. While defining inequality is not a simple task, the arguments and empirical data set forth in this text provide a solid foundation for fresh, contemporary interpretations of the phenomenon that is inequality. The decision to write this book was birth through recognizing the limitations of most literary reviews, in the format of an article, which for the purposes of brevity, do not sufficiently address the issue of inequality with enough depth and wholeness. Therefor, many of these articles have been selected through assigned material in sociological PhD courses in an effort to provide an accessible reader that covers a large body of scholarly articles in one definitive text. The goal is to introduce the main concepts and themes in these articles, giving the reader brief insight, which may lead to additional exploration of these articles, their authors and/or related articles and authors.

Here at JamRa Books we publish nothing less than enthralling manuscripts!
Whether they are fiction or non-fiction, romance or murder mystery; we just love good books!
Jameelah is the owner and primary author here at JamRa Books! This website is a culmination of a decade-long vision to successfully publish her own projects independently and help others get their books published too. The idea of waiting on the publishing industry to say when her projects would be valuable enough to reach her audience did not appeal to Jameelah. In fact, it pushed her towards creating a now flourishing platform, where others can be inspired, read good books and tell their stories!
JamRa Books is an independent author publishing house, that sells and promotes independently published books, while also providing excellent online author resources for both aspiring and experienced writers.
